The Development Bank of Angola (Banco de Desenvolvimento de Angola, BDA) is a public financial institution established under Decree-Law No. 37/06 of 7 June 2006, with the mission of driving sustainable economic growth in Angola. BDA focuses on increasing national wealth, continuously improving population well-being, and strengthening the country's economy. It serves as a key instrument for financing national economic development, aligned with the Government's Economic and Social Development Programme and the National Long-Term Development Strategy. BDA primarily targets private sector initiatives, promoting the acquisition of goods and equipment, building corporate capacity, and facilitating access to new technologies needed for the development of small, medium, and large enterprises in the productive sector.
